1) Get the video footage into your computer.

2) Arranging the video footage together to make a movie.
This is the most important art of video or movie editing: Here you can arrange all of your video footage in a order according to your choices , which footage will appear first and then and then.
Here are a few tips to make your video better.
a)First watch all of your footage before you start editing. this will give you idea, which portion of your video footage is necessary for editing or not.
b) Identify the best shot from the sequence and use that.
c) Cut and discard the unwanted portion from video footage, or the portion of video where the footage was not appear clearly, not focusing the related things.
Bring all of your footage, start working in a logical sequence to drop the shots into the timeline. Don't bother about what are the titles, how to use transitions and effects, just continue to working on it and focus on your video.
Now check your movie, if any portion of your video is wrong again cut and delete that portion from collection.
Now we ready to add titles, transitions and effects in between footage or inside the footage.
a) Add the titles or make your own titles.
b) Add transitions like dissolve, fade and any effects according to your choice.
