Common video effects or transitional effects

The process of viewing or displaying all the video clips one after another with some interactive effect  is called the video transition.

The common video transitions are cut, Mix, Dissolve or Crossfade, Fade, wipe.  

Cut
The process of simple change from one shot to the another.

Dissolve or Crossfade
It is very common transition, in which one video shot gradually fades into the another shots.  

Fade
In this transition, the clips gradually fades or disappear to one color .we can use this transition at the begining and ending of the video, suppose you  are doing a movie project and after playing of all the clips then the screen goes to white or black then use this fade transition  

Wipe
Wipe is an advanced transitional effects for video mixing, in which two or more video clips are changes in geometric order.
